Sun & Shade

A question that often comes up from our customers is: What is the difference between Sun and Shade plants?

We thought that since there is always a question of how long can plants be in the sun? how much sun? what time of day? etc.

Here is our quick and simple guide to help you remember what is best for sun and shade plants:

Shade plants like bright and direct light/sun and mostly enjoy the morning sun or late afternoon sun.

The partial sun plants like at least 4 hours of direct sun and should be placed in a partial sun area outside your house.

Full Sun plants need at least 6 hours of sun, or all day sun. This would be in a location outside your house that has sun all day long.

We have a huge variety of hanging baskets and planters that are partial sun, full sun, and shade ready to go for everyones needs. We can help you build your beautiful planters that fit your sun paths around your home!
